During the first lockdown, in March 2020, many musicians found themselves with a lot of free time and took the opportunity to take stock of their work. This was my case. These recordings had not been chosen to appear on the CD "des enfants" released in 2012. Some of these pieces had a second chance and were recorded again for the CD "Temporäre", released in 2011 ! Do you follow? From the "Temporäre" sessions, I also had Inter-urbain, a track that I had not considered appropriate to include on the CD...

No one does music quite like Camille and Xavier do. I see their music as being akin to soundtracks for unfilmed movies. In this instance it is a movie about explorers of mountainous terrain, perhaps the terrain of our lives. Merci pour cette musique si intrigante. :-) sumbuk
Music rarely makes perfect (non)sense to me during the first couple of spins of a previously unheard album, but for some reason a new French TV release never fails to click with me straight away. AOFABU is no exception. It's an utter delight to hear the band in top form yet again, delivering their quirky and deliciously warped view of musical reality, as if heard in a particularly demented dream. Almost too good to be true, AOFABU is FAB in capital letters (and then some). Ajopuu

This item was on my extensive wishlist for a long time, somewhere in the bottom half named "forgotten, not forlorn". When it recently appeared on Alan Benjamin's wishlist, I was reminded of this cruel fact. Actually, many of the fans I'm following on Bandcamp, renowned for their excellent taste in music, already purchased it long ago, which unmistakeably says something about the quality of this album. Moreover, it's from the Italian "AltrOck Productions" label, which offers a hefty catalog of superb releases. Should I write more? Well, yes, of course... Fans of complex 70's vintage music employing huge stacks of keyboards will have a lot of fun with this gem from France created by Fabrice Chouette, Patrick Dufour, and Frédéric Chaput. OK, this should suffice. Now listen... and buy... Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
